Hollywood director best known for his 1983 film âA Christmas Story.â The cult classic is now shown annually on TBS in the weeks leading up to Christmas. For the four decades prior to making âA Christmas Story,â Clark directed horror films like âBlack Christmas,â and stories of teen angst such as âPorkyâs.â He and his son were killed by a drunk driver on a Los Angeles highway.
