Brad Renfro
actor
Born: 6/25/1982
Birthplace: Knoxville, Tennessee
Known for playing opposite seasoned actors, Brad Renfro's career started accidentally. While still in elementary school, Renfro was asked to participate in a D.A.R.E. public service announcement as part of its national anti-drug campaign. A policeman noted his talent and told a casting agent to check him out. A few months later the 10-year old was cast with Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones in the big-screen adaptation of John Grisham's The Client (1994). After that performance, Renfro was cast in other big feature films, such as The Cure (1995), Tom & Huck (1995), Sleepers (1996), and Ghost World (2001).
