Paula Zahn

A graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO, Zahn began reporting for WFAA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Dallas. In 1979 she moved to San Diego to work for the CBS affiliate. Zahn worked at stations in Houston, Boston, and Los Angeles, before joining ABC News in 1987. She co-anchored World News This Morning and regularly appeared on Good Morning America. Zahn switched to CBS News in the early 1990s, co-hosting CBS Morning News and anchoring the CBS Evening News Saturday Edition. She also covered the Olympics and various world events, and filled in for anchor Dan Rather. Zahn joined Fox News Channel in 1999. She anchored the evening news, The Fox Report, and hosted The Edge with Paula Zahn, a daily news program. In 2001 she joined CNN and launched its American Morning with Paula Zahn. She is currently the anchor for the evening discussion and analysis program Paula Zahn Now.
