Grammy Award-winning British singer, composer and pianist for The Beatles. His songwriting credits for The Beatles include Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, and Hey Jude. After The Beatles broke up in 1970, McCartney launched a successful solo career and formed the band Wings (1971–81) with his wife, Linda.
