Chofu

Chofu chōˈfo͞o [key], city, Tokyo Metropolis, E central Honshu, Japan, on the Tuma River. A residential suburb of Tokyo, Chofu produces electrical equipment, machinery, and food. The city has a racetrack and an amusement park, as well as the Jindai Temple, which was built in 733.
