Cheektowaga

Cheektowaga chēkˌtŏwäˈgə [key], town (2020 pop. 73,740), Erie co., W. N.Y., E of Buffalo; settled 1809; inc. 1834. A major suburb of Buffalo, the town's population grew significantly after World War II, but has declined in the 21st century. Buffalo International Airport is nearby. Villa Maria and Empire State colleges have campuses there.
