Getafe

Getafe hātäˈfā [key], town, Madrid prov., central Spain. An industrial and agricultural center S of Madrid, Getafe has become part of the metropolitan area of Madrid. Its manufactures include electrical equipment and aircraft. The Spanish air force has its headquarters in Getafe.
