SOLLERS, Augustus Rhodes, a Representative from Maryland; born near Prince Frederick, Calvert County, Md., May 1, 1814; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1836 and commenced practice in Prince Frederick; elected as a Whig to the Twenty-seventh Congress (March 4, 1841-March 3, 1843); resumed the practice of law; delegate to the State constitutional convention in 1851; elected to the Thirty-third Congress (March 4, 1853-March 3, 1855); resumed the practice of law at Prince Frederick, and died near there November 26, 1862; interment in St. Paulâs Churchyard, near Prince Frederick, Md.
