HENRY, Daniel Maynadier, a Representative from Maryland; born near Cambridge, Dorchester County, Md., February 19, 1823; attended Cambridge Academy and St. Johnâs College, Annapolis, Md.; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1844 and practiced in Cambridge; member of the house of delegates in 1846 and 1849; served in the State senate in 1869; elected as a Democrat to the Forty-fifth and Forty-sixth Congresses (March 4, 1877-March 3, 1881); chairman, Committee on Accounts (Forty-sixth Congress); resumed the practice of law; died in Cambridge, Md., August 31, 1899; interment in Christ Protestant Episcopal Church Cemetery.
