Happiest States, 2013

The following table lists the happiest states in 2013—new this year is North Dakota in the top spot. The former number one, Hawaii, still ranks in the top ten, at number eight. The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index survey included questions about job satisfaction, healthy behaviors, physical health, emotional health, and other aspects of everyday life.
