Evans, who won three Oscars, collaborated with Jay Livingston to write a number of hits, such as âSilver Bells,â âMona Lisa,â and âQue Sera, Seraâ (Whatever Will Be, Will Be). Evans and Livingston were highly sought after in Hollywood during the 1940s and â50s, turning out song after song for films, which often became jukebox hits.
