New York Giants defeat New England Patriots, 17-14, 2007 Season
On Feb. 3, 2008, the New England Patriots came to the Super Bowl as the first team to complete an undefeated regular season since the 1972 Miami Dolphins. The Patriots were the only team to achieve a perfect season since the NFL expanded to a 16-game season in 1978. New England was heavily favored to win. What happened instead was one of the biggest upsets in sports history, and what many consider one of the best, most competitive Super Bowls ever. It all came down to a fourth quarter game-winning drive by the Giants, including David Tyree's 32-yard, jumping one-handed catch (pictured above).
