Jeff Buckley

Son of songwriter Tim Buckley, he played guitar and sang vocals in various jazz, funk, and reggae bands before going solo in 1993. He released his debut album, Grace, the following year to critical acclaim. His accidental death by drowning cut short a promising career. A collection of previously unreleased recordings came out in 1998.
