Bernie Sanders Records Folk Album: While Mayor of Burlington, Vermont, Bernie Sanders recorded and released the folk album, "We Shall Overcome." Pictured here during a Nov. 20, 1987 recording session, Sanders recorded five songs in spoken word style, accompanied by 30 Vermont artists. According to Nielsen Music, the album's sales have increased since Sanders entered the presidential race in April 2015. In fact, as of Feb. 5, 2016, "We Shall Overcome" was the 62nd most downloaded album on Amazon.
